Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 858

Before long, Andre's car pulled up at the front door, and Henry, hearing the sound, paused to check out the unfamiliar vehicle. It wasn't his dad's car, and he made a face of disapproval.

But to his surprise, it was his dad who got out of the car. Little Henry, leaning on his baby walker, wobbled his tiny body as he pushed it forward, looking like he might just walk on his own.

Andre was pleasantly surprised to see his usually lazy son trying to make an effort with the walker for the first time. Watching his little boy stretch his arms toward him, Andre squatted down with open arms.

Henry launched himself into his father's embrace, clutching his dad's hands tightly, as if afraid he might slip away.

Andre picked up his son, kissed him tenderly, and wiped away his tears. "Looks like my little guy has some serious potential. A little pressure, and he's ready to walk, huh?"

With Henry in one arm and the walker in the other, Andre headed back to the living room. The maid handed him a bottle of formula, which he took after passing the walker over, and he began feeding his son.

"Sir, would you like to have dinner now?" the maid asked.

"Let's wait a bit longer, until the missus wakes up," Andre replied.

He carried Henry upstairs to find his wife still asleep in their peaceful bedroom. He set Henry down, and Mia instinctively wrapped her arms around him, a reflexive gesture.

As the morning sun fully illuminated the room, Leo leaned back in his chair, staring at the ceiling. "Anya, I saw your boyfriend with another woman."

Five minutes later, a sleepy Anya appeared on the screen. "Chad, I just had the worst nightmare. You were with another woman."

The Byrne family household was bustling. No one dared to ask Chad to wake Molly anymore. Coleen took on the task, but after ten minutes, she said, "Chad, you handle it."

Chad put his fork down, went upstairs, and in just three minutes, a bleary-eyed Molly appeared downstairs. "Mom, didn't you say I could take maternity leave when I'm pregnant? Why are you waking me up so early?" She had even decided who would take over her work the night before.

Coleen replied, "What are you dreaming about? Even if you were on maternity leave, it wouldn't start this early."

Molly looked at Chad, confused. "Weren't you the one who said I wouldn't have to work because I'm pregnant?"

Officer Chad: "......"

Coleen and Kendrick eventually realized their son had cleverly backed their daughter into a corner, tricking her into marrying him by using both persuasion and pressure, and even leveraging their parental authority to push her into the marriage.

Back then, with a birthmark and a neck full of kiss marks, sharing a room, even saints would doubt their daughter's innocence. But eventually, it turned out she was indeed innocent.

By then, it was too late to change anything.

Coleen said, "I never said early pregnancy qualifies for maternity leave. Whoever told you that is your problem."

Officer Chad: "......"

Kendrick added, "I never set any rule that early pregnancy qualifies for maternity leave. Don’t drag me and your mom into this."

Chad put down his fork and turned to his wife. "Quit your job, I can take care of you."

Later, Molly headed back to work. At the company, Mrs. Cedillo of Maplewood Estates had just woken up.

Rubbing her eyes, she sat up in bed and hugged her little bundle. "Honey, what time is it?"

"Eight o'clock. We've missed the rush hour. Get up, wash up, have some breakfast, and we'll head down the mountain."

After their parents had breakfast, Henry, who had already eaten, was left in his walker, not moving a bit, with no sign of the morning's excitement towards his father.

Once they finished breakfast and tidied up, the family of three set off.
