Several clouds floated above her head and covered the sun. Yolande narrowed her eyes and looked up at the sky.
Austin stood beside her, sized her up, looked at her beautiful face, and felt something soft in his heart.
Although he always behaved like a normal man, he still found it hard to accept that for the several months he spent with Yolande, he had fallen in love with her. This woman was always able to make him feel something.
In the afternoon, Yolande was supposed to attend a dinner. After getting her dressed, Austin asked his assistant to drive her home.
"Aren't you going with me?" She turned to Austin and asked.
"Well, I won't go there this afternoon. You can go to the meeting by yourself. Call me if you need me."
"Okay."
Somehow, Yolande was a little upset. She still wanted to have him.
Yolande comforted herself. After all, she wasn't a child, and she knew that Austin was busy with his work.
After saying that, Austin opened the car door for Yolande. Yolande got into the car and his assistant got in too.
With a bright smile, Yolande waved at Austin cheerfully.
Austin put his hands in his pockets and didn't leave until the car was out of his sight.
In the Lin Villa
Mona opened the door and greeted, "Lady, you're back."
"Yes. I'm back to change my clothes and go to a dinner party."
Yolande said to Mona while changing her shoes at the door.
"Will Mr. Lin go with you?" Mona asked.
"Well, he won't go," said Yolande.
As a maid of the Lin family, Mona Chen had seen clearly that Austin loved Yolande so much. So she naturally asked more questions.
Yolande changed her slippers and went upstairs to change her clothes. She opened the wardrobe, and saw her clothes were all hung up, including her skirt and coat.
Yolande took out a sapphire skirt and measured it on herself. The style of the skirt was new and elegant. Presumably, she looked as graceful as she wore it.
Yolande changed into her suit and coiled her hair. In the mirror, she looked capable and graceful.
Austin had bought her several clothes of famous brands before. But Yolande claimed that she could buy them if she had wages. Austin said, "You can save your money and spend it on yourself. When you take back the property that belongs to you, you can learn to take care of your own business."
Yolande was touched by his words. This man had made a perfect plan for her. If she married such a perfect man, she would be very happy in the future.
Although both of them were clear about their marriage, it was just a deal on the way to revenge. She was satisfied to be protected by a man like Austin.
After wearing a light make-up, Yolande put on her clothes, rested her handbag on her shoulder and went downstairs.
"Mona, I have to go now. I won't come back for dinner."
Yolande wore her shoes at the door and shouted at Mona inside the room.
