Talented Martial Hero novel Chapter 778

Flying on the way to the North Sea Prison, the blue-armored commander was suddenly stopped.

"Do not stop them, lest your life be put in danger. This is an order from the ancestor,"

a middle-aged man in a black robe said calmly.

"Does the ancestor mean what he says, brother?" the blue-armored commander asked.

They were the last remaining law enforcers of the Sacred Palace and he thought that he would be able to overcome them easily. He did not understand the danger that it posed. He couldn't figure it out.

However, the blue-armored commander dared not to challenge what the ancestor said.

"Our ancestor has commanded we let them be for the time being. Once we are all complete, he himself will show up to take them down."

Hearing these words, the blue-armored commander's heart skipped a beat. Were they so powerful that the ancestor had to be the one to go up against them? Who were these men?

"Yes." The blue-armored commander and the middle-aged man flew away after this.

Following the coordinates found by Finley, Darren and his companions found themselves at the edge of the North Sea.

The strong wind blew towards them.

The waves crashed wildly but somehow, Darren found watching them to be peaceful.

They stopped for a while to bask in their surroundings and when they were ready, they dove deep into the sea.

The creatures of the sea were frightened of the aura that they exuded and kept away from them.

Thirty thousand leagues beneath the sea, there was a cage. It was chained to the bottom of the sea and with just a glance, Darren knew it was enchanted.

The water was cold as ice.

They swam closer to the cage and saw several figures in it, each one covered in ice.

"Lord Donald!"

Darren exclaimed. He used his dark gold internal force to unleash an attack on the cave and golden light shot out from his chest.

The bottom of the sea stirred but the cage did not budge.

The prisoners, however, were awakened.

"D... Darren..."

The middle-aged man opened his eyes and looked at them in surprise.

"Why are you here? You should leave! Now!"

Lord Donald gasped weakly. The cold made him look more disheveled and he was still unable to move.

Auberon also opened his eyes.

"Darren, please leave. We still have time to live."

"Lord Donald... Auberon..." Ramon and all the other disciples of the Sacred Palace fell to their knees in reverence.

"Please get up. They cannot keep us here for long. Once the soldiers of the eighteen cities return, the Cross Expeditionary Force will be forced to let us go!" said Lord Donald.

"Lord Donald, Darren came to rescue you. He is strong enough to kill a general with one blow. We have the chance to get you out of there!"

"Yes, My Lord. With my current strength, I am not afraid of the so-called eight commanders. My friend, Finley, is also with me. His power equals mine, so you need not be afraid of anything that may come," Darren said, his voice booming.

"Finley, open the cage." Darren turned to Finley.

"Don't rush. I'm already checking it. The cage has very strong Shackle Rule. I need time to be able to destroy it." Finley analyzed the cage, his eyes twinkling.

"Darren, you don't understand. The Cross Expeditionary Force is more than meets the eye. A powerful man backs them up. In fact, there are also some elders in the Sacred Palace. But they are now trapped in the eighteen cities and not convenient to come out. Once they come, we will have nothing to worry about.

Moreover, even the one behind the Cross Expeditionary Force wouldn't dare to kill us. This is a rule that was set from the birth of the eight clans. They can defend themselves and suppress each other's power, but they must not kill one another or else they themselves will be killed," Lord Donald said, straining in his effort to speak.

"I think I understand. This rule was put in place to suppress the first fiend ancestor. If the top eight clans fought for their own interests, many talented masters would die. We human beings would be unable to resist if the first fiend ancestor escapes. Am I right?" Darren asked.

"That is the main reason, yes. We have also agreed to these conditions." Lord Donald nodded.
