Sahil's POV
I was getting ready when I heard a knock on the door. I came out of my room and saw my beautiful wife talking to someone on my phone with a beautiful smile on her face.
It was such a beautiful sight. She was attending my phone calls while I was in the washroom just like a wife does.
Suddenly she said, " It is not like that, I missed you too, Samar Ji... "
What ?? She said she missed Samar too?? It was Samar's call.
Oh, God !! He said that he missed her?? What else did he say??
I ran towards her and took the phone from her. Though it was rude of me I couldn't take a chance.
" Hello ?? What did you just say to her?? " I asked in an angry tone.
" Good morning to you too," Samar said I could hear that he was smiling.
" Good morning... What did you just say? " I smiled at her as she was looking at me weirdly and went back inside the room as I didn't want her to hear our conversation.
" I told her, that I missed her... "
" Samar !!! Did you forget, what I said to you before coming here?? "
" No, I didn't... Hey !! But what is she doing with you in the morning ?? I was shocked when she picked up the phone and said that you were in the washroom. "
" So? What is wrong with that?? She is my wife... and would remain so. " I retorted.
" Ok fine, don't get so worked up. I called up to tell you that I want you to come back to Chandigarh as soon as possible."
" Why?? What happened?? "
" There is some problem with the site. You need to come back. I can't handle it. "
" Ok, I will come today..."
" Sahil, I will call back, your dad is calling me. He wanted to come and meet my dad today, maybe it's regarding that. "
" What ?? Why?? Wait... I... " I was saying but he had already disconnected.
Is dad going to talk to Mathur uncle regarding their wedding?? No... I need to stop him.
I had to go back as soon as possible. I didn't want to go as things seemed to be falling back into its place but there was some technical issue which only Sagar, Damini or I could manage. They had another week to be back. We didn't want to disturb them so I had to go back.
And dad was still thinking about getting Manu married to Samar. He is going to meet his dad.
I had to leave right away.
I went out to go and tell everyone that I had to go back to Chandigarh.
I saw my beautiful wife near the staircase. I went near her and was about to say something when she saw me and ran in another direction.
What happened now??
I went after her and caught her hand and turned her to face me.
" What happened?? "
" You are so rude...I don't want to talk to you.. " she said without even looking at me.
" What did I do?? "
" Oh please, I don't want to talk to you... "
" At least tell me what happened? "
" You snatched your phone from my hand. It was ringing continuously. I didn't even want to touch it. But bhabhi insisted that it might be important. You were in the washroom and the screen flashed Samar, so I thought.. you are so rude. I was talking to him. What would he think? "
" Listen, honey...I am sorry, I was angry with him, we had a fight before, I came here. I didn't want to talk to him or want him to tell you about that. " I didn't know what to say so I blurted whatever came into my mind...
" What does that mean ??
" Er...nothing. Sorry... I just... " I had no valid explanation.
" Hey Sahil, take another medicine. " Vikram said.
" Manu I have prepared lunch for Sahil Ji too. We have to leave early there is an emergency case for him. "
Bhabhi said.
" Vikram, actually I was coming to tell you that I am going back to Chandigarh, right away as there is some problem at the site. Sagar and Damini are not there and Samar can't solve those issues. " I said
" But your hand ?? Will you be able to drive to such a long distance?? " Vikram looked worried.
" Don't worry... I will be fine. "
" Can't you go tomorrow?? " Bhabhi said.
" No bhabhi, the work has stopped since yesterday. So I have to go today itself.
" Ok, but take care and call back when you reach there. Take the medicine. " Vikram said and I nodded.
" Please take care, Kanwar sa... " bhabhi said.
