Tangled Temptations novel Chapter 103

Eloise wasn't cool with it, but in the presence of Dominique, she felt awkward to refuse outright.

Landon shot Blake a glance.

Blake immediately grabbed Eloise's hand and exclaimed, "My bro's new ride is a total looker."

How could Eloise possibly say no to such an adorable little girl?

As she got into the car, she turned to Landon and said, "I owe you big time for tonight."

Landon was fixing his hair in the rear-view mirror. Hearing her, he smirked and teased, "What's this? I'm out of sight for a few days, and you're acting like a stranger?"

Eloise just smiled and didn't reply.

Landon swallowed hard, took a deep breath, and started the car.

He was unusually quiet during the drive, unlike his usual self.

Eloise thought it was because of her thing with Harvey, so she didn't dare to speak up.

But she didn't know that Landon had orchestrated the whole thing with Max and Orlena. He had painted the Laurent family in a bad light to Orlena, who was an easy believer. She took the bait and spilled the beans to Harvey.

And now, here they were. The Laurent family was safe, and Eloise was with Harvey.

Landon wasn't sure if he regretted his actions. But seeing Eloise still stirred feelings in him. He had a thing for her for a long time. How could he make her uncomfortable?

When they got out of the car, Landon ruffled his little sister's hair and said to Eloise, "I've got a date. You hang out with Blake for a bit, grab a bite, and I'll swing by to pick her up."

Eloise breathed a sigh of relief. She owed Landon a favor and didn't want things to get awkward.

She took Blake's hand and said, "Alright, I'll take her to get some grub."

Landon blew them a kiss and winked, "Ms. Laurent, you're looking stunning today!"

Eloise blushed a bit.
