Tangled Temptations novel Chapter 196

Eloise was taken by surprise when she received a call from Marc.

She had assumed that their partnership was off the table and was preparing to find another business partner. But in a surprising twist of fate,

Marc agreed enthusiastically.

What followed was a week of discussing contract details.

Eloise owned six Crescendo Sound Workshops. Of course, the original locations where piano lessons were offered couldn't be touched. So she used the 20 million dollars that Stuart had invested in renting new spaces and renovating them.

Every Crescendo Sound Workshop was equipped with a showroom.

Dwight had a lot of friends who were car enthusiasts. They were young men who looked sharp in suits and ties and were knowledgeable about cars. On the first day of opening, the showrooms were swamped with customers.

200 cars were sold, amounting to 1.2 billion in sales.

Eloise personally called Marc, who was over the moon.

He spoke warmly, "I underestimated Ms. Laurent's ability. This market has never been tapped into before, and Ms. Laurent, you're the trailblazer. As a rough and ready kind of guy, I'll give you an extra percentage point as a celebratory gesture."

Eloise responded with a subtle smile, "Thank you, Marc. I'll treat you to dinner sometime."

Marc returned the offer graciously, "Sure thing."

...

After she hung up, Dwight came over with a stack of orders. He wore a sleek black suit that complimented his form, making it hard for anyone to take their eyes off him. He sat next to Eloise and complained in a low voice, "They're going to eat me alive. You've turned this place into a wild Night Club."

As they talked, he couldn't help but get closer and flirt. But Eloise gave him a look.

Instantly, Dwight straightened up. He was a bit afraid of Eloise.

Eloise took the orders from him, flipping through them before praising, "Good job! You must have made quite a commission today."

Dwight looked at her expectantly.

He wanted her to reward him with something else.

Eloise had no idea about his hidden desires. She thought for a moment before saying, "Today's hype might only last a week. I want to establish a marketing department to promote our showrooms. Besides, some high-end department stores have halls on the first floor which could be a business opportunity."

Dwight groaned, "Woman, how much money do you want to make?"

He didn't want to deal with these complicated matters. He just wanted to rest, flirt with girls and have drinks with his buddies.

Eloise's expression turned serious.

She said emotionlessly, "If you don't want to do it, I'll call Mr. Arellano right now and explain to him."

"I'll do it. I'll do it." Dwight exclaimed.

He looked at Eloise again. She was reading the marketing plan, her side profile soft and beautiful. Even her hair color seemed different from others, but it wasn't dyed.

She was so beautiful!

He was determined to win her over. After reaping the fruits of victory, he would show off to Horigan.

Humph!

He was not someone to be trifled with.

...

At Prestige Legal Advisors, Harvey was in his office wrapping up a video conference.

Denise walked in.

Harvey glanced at her, took a sip of his coffee and asked quietly, "Did you find anything?"

Denise nodded and placed the documents she had been holding in front of him. "Ms. Laurent's project is doing quite well," she began, "She's planning on expanding her market into Peterborough and the surrounding malls. She's been on business trips for the past few days."

Harvey slowly flipped through the documents.

He majored in law and minored in finance, so he was well-versed in this area.

He quickly identified some issues, such as sustainability problems. Eloise probably considered this too, which was why she decided to explore other markets.

"It is a lot of work."

Harvey paused for a moment, "Get Carter from Horigan Inc.'s branch office over here. I have a task for him."
