Harvey bent down. He didn't immediately kiss her, but took Eloise's face in one hand. His slightly rough fingers gently brushed her delicate skin. Then he took hold of her hair, tenderly stroking and kneading.
Such slow yet seductive actions were unbearable. Eloise had never experienced this before; she couldn't help but softly call out, "Harvey!"
......
"No longer calling me Attorney Horigan?" Harvey asked.
His straight nose was pressed against hers; their faces were so close that their breaths were mingling together.
Harvey could kiss her at any moment.
Eloise was clutching his shirt tightly, her heart beating like crazy. She wanted to close her eyes. But Harvey wouldn't let her, he gently tugged her hair and whispered, "Eloise, keep your eyes open and see how we have our first kiss."
He called her by her name, not Ms. Laurent. For some reason, Eloise felt a strong surge of emotions.
She opened her eyes, her lips slightly trembling, gradually moving closer to him.
Harvey held her tightly. They were in the hospital room, both of them feeling intensely. What started as a shallow kiss began to grow more passionate!
Harvey was losing control, and he whispered, "Eloise, are you sure?"
Eloise momentarily snapped back to reality. Instinctively, she wanted to push Harvey away, but then she thought about her feelings that had been a joke for years. Her virginity had no meaning at all, so Eloise took the initiative to kiss him again.
Feeling hazily, she actually had a sense of vengeful pleasure!
Harvey ended the kiss. His male pride wouldn’t allow him to continue. He let go of Eloise, leaned back and straightened his ruffled shirt. Looking at her puzzled face, he said in a calm tone, "Ms. Laurent, you're injured, you should rest."
Eloise was completely sober now, feeling utterly embarrassed!
Harvey pulled out a cigarette, playing with it between his fingers. After a while, he suddenly said, "You must be curious. I obviously know Max's character. Why would I still allow Orlena to be engaged to him."
