The university reunion was full of talented people, and the one who stood out the most was Harvey. Ravenna had hoped to get on his good side, but Harvey had already left with Eloise.
In the parking lot, inside the car, Harvey slowly buckled his seatbelt, turning to look at Eloise.
Eloise leaned back in her seat. There was a hint of tears in her eyes as she stared out the car window. Clearly, those old videos had touched her.
First love is not something that’s easily forgotten, right?
Harvey’s long fingers lightly caressed the steering wheel. He asked, “Miss it?”
“No!”
“Then why do you look like you’re about to cry, hmm?”
...
Eloise remained silent.
Harvey’s fingers tightened slightly on the steering wheel before he gently stepped on the accelerator and drove away.
After a while, Eloise realized something was off. This wasn’t the way home, nor was it the way to his office. She couldn’t help but ask, “Where are you taking me?”
Harvey’s voice was tight. “To the apartment we used to live in.”
Eloise had an idea of what he might be planning and felt a hint of resistance. “Harvey, my past with Max was years ago. You can’t keep holding on to it just because of a video.”
He didn’t respond.
At the next red light, he took a cigarette from the dashboard and lit it. “Eloise, I’m jealous.”
Eloise was stunned.
Harvey left it at that and focused on driving, taking them to the apartment building.
When Eloise refused to get out of the car, Harvey unbuckled his seatbelt, leaning in close to her ear. “Do you want to get out yourself, or should I carry you?”
Eloise was a bit defiant, getting out of the car and storming ahead of him. Harvey slowly shut the car door and casually followed her, with a cigarette between his fingers.
Once inside the apartment, Eloise turned to ask him, “Harvey, what are you...”
Before she could finish, he had grabbed her wrist and pinned her against the wall.
Their bodies were close together. Even though they were married, it was still quite stimulating in the middle of the day.
Eloise was a little taken aback. “Harvey?”
Harvey gently stroked her soft cheek. His voice was particularly husky. “I just have some questions for you!”
After saying this, he pulled off his tie and used it to bind her wrists. Then, he tossed her onto the soft couch. Eloise struggled to get up, kneeling on the couch, angrily asking, “Harvey, is this how you ask questions?”
Harvey knelt in front of her, lightly brushing her cheek. He gave a soft laugh. Then, he got up and walked to the liquor cabinet. His long fingers lightly brushed over the various bottles before he picked two bottles of fine red wine. This wine was intoxicating but not overpowering. It was perfect for women to drink.
He took off his jacket, leaving only a white shirt on. A belt cinched his slim waist, his legs were long and straight, which women often found appealing.
At that moment, Harvey came over with the bottles of wine, knelt in front of her, and elegantly poured two glasses. Eloise thought he was going to force her to drink, so she bit her lip and said, “Harvey, whatever you want to know, I’ll tell you.”
He swirled the wine in the glass. “I want the truth.” After saying this, he took a small sip. His Adam’s apple bobbed up and down, exuding a masculine charm.
Eloise stared. Her lips parted slightly. Her voice was husky and sexy. “Harvey...”
