Eloise was so blasted, fear was the last thing on her mind. Rather, she was clinging onto his neck and saying, "I'm feeling down, I don't wanna cook."
Veronica on the side was getting anxious just watching.
Attorney Horigan holding Eloise was a sight that could make anyone blush.
She wanted to watch a bit longer, but Harvey wasn't in the mood for a show, so he just scooped Eloise and put her into his gold Bentley parked outside.
Luckily, Eloise was a well-behaved drunk, sitting still and quiet.
Harvey closed the car door, turned, and asked Veronica with a smooth grace, "Do you need a ride home?"
Veronica didn't dare to accept the offer, she quickly shaking her head and saying, "I’m good, just take care of Eloise."
Harvey had heard a thing or two about Veronica. She could hold her liquor and was a party animal. He never thought she'd get along so well with Eloise.
Harvey gave a small nod and went around to get in the car.
The swanky gold Bentley slowly drove off...
Veronica covered her face in awe, "They're a match made in heaven!"
She suddenly slapped herself... She wasn't dreaming! This was real! Her Eloise found herself a top-notch man!
Harvey drove off and at a red light, he looked over at the woman next to him.
Tipsy as she was, she was still behaving, not making a fuss.
There was no unpleasant smell of alcohol on her, instead, her drunken state made her somewhat alluring.
Her face was flushed, her eyes glossy.
Harvey suddenly had an urge to smoke, but he didn't, considering Eloise was in the car. He just drove quietly back to the apartment.
After the car stopped, Eloise asked dazedly, "Are we here?"
She reached for the door handle but was stopped by a strong arm.
Eloise was startled, she looked up at him.
Harvey's face was calm, his gaze deep. If it wasn't for her feeling his strength, she wouldn't be able to tell he was being so assertive.
"Harvey..." Eloise struggled to say his name.
