Eloise was all flushed from his flirtatious gestures.

She gently stroked his handsome face and whispered, "You'll be late if you don't leave now."

Harvey just stared at her.

Though he was no longer a naive young lad, he couldn’t help but say things that made her blush whenever they were together. It was beyond his understanding.

Eloise was totally clueless when it came to affairs of the heart, and Harvey enjoyed moulding her into his ideal woman. It was a satisfying feeling for a man.

Harvey was a considerate guy. He allowed Marianna to leave early after breakfast.

But Marianna didn’t want to go.

“Attorney, you hired me to work. I haven't finished my duties today, so how can I just take your pay and leave?”

Harvey slowly finished his coffee.

After a while, he said, “Alright, I’ll have Denise pay you for three months’ worth of salary. You can take a break at home for these three months. We’ll see what happens after that.”

It would depend on how strong his interest in Eloise was. If things were still the same after three months, Marianna might have to take an extended leave.

His calm demeanor as he spoke these words made Marianna feel awkward!

Attorney made quite a commotion this morning, and she heard some of it. Marianna was a conservative person. She had never imagined men making such noises during that sort of thing.

Marianna didn't dare to think about it anymore.

She was grateful and happy to be able to take a few months' pay and go home to see her family.

Marianna quickly packed up and left.

Before leaving, she whispered, "Attorney, please take good care of Ms. Laurent. She's a nice girl."
