Tangled Temptations novel Chapter 96

Eloise was bummed out, not knowing how to comfort him.

Griffin looked at Eloise's face, and it overlapped with the woman he remembered. He shook his head, thinking he must be seeing things because he missed Louise too much.

After all, he was a public figure, so he quickly got his act together.

Griffin sighed, saying that Harvey had finally found a girlfriend who seemed like a real catch.

"Griffin, you only have eyes for Eloise. What about me?" Orlena pouted at the side.

Griffin couldn't help but crack a smile. He cuddled the little girl and tenderly said, "You already have a boyfriend. Why are you still clinging to me like when you were a kid?”

Orlena grew up abroad.

She used to ride on Griffin's shoulders, so she was a total goofball around him, like his little girl. Hearing Griffin's words, she smiled faintly and said, "Even if I'm married, I'll never forget you."

Griffin looked at her, his eyes full of affection.

If only he could find his own flesh and blood, he hoped she would be as adorable as this girl! He would give her everything, the best of everything...

Eloise quietly watched them.

She thought that Griffin must really like kids.

He looked at Orlena as if he was looking at his own child...

Griffin's reason for coming back this time was to secretly find his daughter. He asked Harvey for help, and with one glance, Harvey got the message. He then told Eloise to go grab a bite.

In the small lounge, Griffin couldn't control his emotions and asked urgently, "Harvey, any updates on the task I asked you to handle?"

Harvey had conducted a thorough investigation, but there was still no news.

He shook his head lightly.

Griffin couldn't help but feel disappointed. He carefully took out a thin chain from his pocket embedded with a pink diamond.

Griffin whispered in agony, "This is what she used to wear. I can't believe I'm seeing it again after all these years."

Harvey took the chain. He frowned slightly. That familiar feeling was back; he felt like he had seen it somewhere but couldn't remember. Maybe on one of his clients?
