Once she had left, Brody turned to me, clearing his throat and adjusting his posture. “I am sorry for that. I don’t know why she thinks she can roam around the mansion without being questioned,” he said, avoiding eye contact until he mentioned the kiss, “You taste so good, Nora. My body flinched, but I was adept at hiding my reactions now. “So, you’re going to use my children to coerce me now?” My straightforwardness. made him shut his eyes for a moment before opening them and looking at
