Scarelett had a literary talent, and those words were very meaningful and encouraging.
Rowan also saw it. He was a bluff man, and he didn't even have as much acquaintance with literature as Kate.
But Kate's maternal grandfather was a renowned scholar, and she had learned a lot from her grandpa. Also, Rowan on occasions wrote articles with Kate. Though his proficiency couldn't hold a candle to Kate, he could tell that Scarlett was very good with words.
He felt that her words were like her character.
Rowan could tell from the couple of words that his granddaughter was an aspirational woman.
Rowan nodded in satisfaction and turned to look at Scarlett. "You haven't been back for many years, right? It’s not every day you get to come here. Would you like to go and say hi to the students in the same class you used to be in? "
Rowan's words were exactly what Mrs.
Towver was thinking. Apart from anything else, Scarlett used to be her student, and she knew very well what Scarlett was like.
Scarlett had shown her all due courtesy. She and the principal and the other topranking executives valued Scarlett so much partially because Scarlett was indeed the most intelligent student that this school had seen in many years, and more importantly, Scarlett had gifts delivered to them on every major holiday.
Those gifts were not costly, but she could tell that Scarlett had picked them with care. They were mostly basic necessities like flour, oil etc., which wouldn't raise doubts in anybody’s mind.
Apart from that, every year Scarlett made a donation to the school which would be used to cover the overhead.
Scarlett had done a lot for the school, and the school board had offered several times to hold a commendation ceremony to commend her in front of the whole school, and he had also wanted to request the municipal government to bestow the title Outstanding Young Person on her, but Scarlett had rejected all the offers.
Afterward the principal had said Scarlett was not a fame seeker, that they should leave her alone. Therefore, nobody had brought it up again, but they all missed Scarlett.
