Standing at the door, Lola was speechless.
After closing the door, Scarlett glanced at Raymond, asking, "Didn't Alexander say that the manor was closed?"
She wondered how there could be outsiders in the manor.
Raymond held an umbrella, walked inside hand in hand with Scarlett, and answered," I'll ask him."
Scarlett smiled. "Okay."
The manor was owned by Alexander.
Scarlett was not that possessive. She didn't want to hog the manor.
Yet just now, the woman knocked on the door twice. Obviously, she did that with bad intentions.
Scarlett would like to see who dared mess with Raymond.
They went back into the villa. Scarlett was sitting at the dining table, trimming the flowers picked by Raymond.
Raymond gazed at her for a while. His eyes turned cold as he thought of the woman who had disturbed them just now.
Raymond took out his cell phone and called Alexander.
Alexander had just finished a meeting. He was very busy lately.
If Alexander was free, his family would arrange blind dates for him. He would rather work overtime.
Meanwhile, Raymond was idle, staying with Scarlett every day.
Alexander had asked Raymond to go out several times, but Raymond just said he had no time.
Therefore, when he suddenly received a call from Raymond, Alexander wondered if it was his hallucination because he was so busy that he had little sleep.
A few days ago, Raymond told Alexander to close the manor in the neighboring city since Raymond and Scarlett were going to take wedding photos there for a week, but five days later, Raymond contacted Alexander.
