Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 11

At 3:00 pm, along with a statement posted on Julie's social media account, the public opinion on the internet changed again.

Julie's statement was close to a thousand words but i n fact, they only carried two meanings: one was that she and Raymond were just very good friends, and she did not do anything to ruin his marriage with Scarlett while they were still married; the second was that it was her painting exhibition today, so she was a bit confused why Scarlett, who had gotten divorced with Raymond, would show up.

Anyone who was slightly smarter could tell that Julie's statement was extremely b*tchy. Her seemingly objective clarification was actually very b* tchy. The words she used for her second point were to secretly mock Scarlett for not letting go even after her divorce, so much so that she could not help to bring someone to show off at the painting exhibition of her e x-husband's good friend.

Alexis had been immersed in the entertainment industry for many years. She felt that her whole body was in pain when she saw the statement. As such, she directly used the big move from Scarlett.

Therefore, the public opinion was lopsided within half an hour.

Frank felt that things were bad when he learned about this matter from his assistant. He immediately asked someone to gather everything and arrange them in order, then he knocked on Raymond's office door.

Raymond asked without looking up from his desk," What's the matter?”

"Mr. Shaw, do we need to clarify the rumor about you and Miss Woods on the internet?"

"What rumor?"

The man frowned impatiently.

For a moment, Frank was not certain if it was the truth or a rumor. He also did not have the courage to tell Raymond that the intimate photos of him and Julie in a hotel room had been posted on the internet.

Frank simply put the tablet in his hand in front of Raymond. "This morning, Miss Woods' painting exhibition was broadcast live. Since Miss Reed happened to be at the exhibition, there were some bad public opinions on the internet...”

Raymond was not interested in these things on the internet, but the set of photos on the tablet was very eye-catching. He saw them at a glance.

In the photos, Raymond had just walked out of the bathroom in a bathrobe, and Julie took them using the selfie camera of her phone from the front. There was not substantial contact between them, but these photos made them look flirty indeed.

That day, Ramond was on a business trip out of town and bumped into Julie during dinner. Julie drank a lot that night. For the sake of the Woods family, he asked Frank to send her back to her room. Who knew, she puked as soon as she left the door, and her vomit was all over Raymond's body. His face darkened right away, and he asked Frank to carry her away while he returned to his room to wash up.

When Raymond came out of his shower, Julie appeared in his room in a bathrobe. She said she was there to apologize but before she could say much, he impatiently sent her away.

"Where did these photos come from?"

Raymond swiped the tablet. When he saw those comments, his face became as cold as severe winter.

Frank somehow felt a chill. "We haven't found out for now."

"Why are so many bulletins talking about me all of a sudden?"

In actuality, they were not just talking about him; they were simply scolding him.

Frank lifted his hand to wipe the sweat on his forehead. "We found out that these self-media received bulletins bought from public relations by Crain Vision Entertainment Co. Ltd.."

"81am!"

Raymond suddenly slammed the tablet in his hand on the table face down. His dark eyes were frightening."

Contact the person in charge of Crain and get their people to remove those bulletins right away!”

"Alright, okay, Mr. Shaw, I'll contact them right away!"

Frank hurriedly left to look for the contact number of Crain's person in charge. He did not know what Raymond saw, but he looked as if he was going to swallow a person earlier. The thought of it was fearsome!

Inside his office, Raymond's face was cold. He suddenly seemed to have thought of something, thus h e reached out to dial Frank’s internal line. "You don't need to contact Crain's person in charge anymore!”

After he finished, a "clack" was heard as Raymond directly hung up. He took his phone and got up, then h e walked to the front of the French window to dial his ex-wife's number, which he had not dialed once in these three years.

Scarlett had memorized Raymond's number in her heart. Even without any remark, she could tell at once that it was Raymond who called.

Her phone was ringing happily on the table, but she just looked at it without any intention of answering it.

Alexis, who was on the side, felt that something was not right. She looked at Scarlett but saw that she was eating grapes leisurely, so she could not help but ask probingly, "Is the call from Raymond?"

Scarlett spat out the grape's skin. "Mm."
