Chapterll02
During the second trimester, both the fetus and the pregnant woman grew faster. The dietitian was concerned that Alexis' fetus would grow too big for her to deliver and that Alexis would gain too much weight and have a difficult time recovering from the birth, so during Alexis' second trimester, the dietitian kept strict control on Alexis' diet.
However, in the middle of Alexis pregnancy, her appetite increased greatly. And in the second trimester, she wanted to have strong-flavored foods. But in the last few months of her pregnancy, she had only a few meals of that. Most of the time, she ate light nutritious meals, which was why she craved those heavily-seasoned food so much.
Alexis thought she could have some raw fish salad after she gave birth, but the nurses and dietitian said she needed to eat lighter food and that she was not ready to eat raw fish.
Alexis couldn't get out of the hospital, and her phone was taken away by Justin. She couldn’t secretly order delivered food.
Yesterday afternoon Alexis took a nap and dreamed that she had a barbecue. When she woke up, she found herself drooling, so she couldn't resist sending Scarlett that message last night.
Alexis was not greedy. She just wanted a taste of raw salmon salad.
However, at such a critical moment, Scarlett turned her back on her. Not only would Scarlett not bring her salmon salad, but she also snuck in salmon salad herself and showed it off to Alexis.
'Twenty years of friendship is nothing at all!'
"Raymond made it." Scarlett texted Alexis. Immediately, Alexis got even angrier. She couldn't eat her meal. She put her fork down and glared at Justin, "I don't want to eat this!"
Justin was confused, "What's wrong? You don’t like it?"
Then Justin picked up his fork and tasted it. He thought it was delicious. "It's good, Lex."
Alexis threw her phone to Justin and grunted, "It's not! Lettie wanted to have salmon salad, and Raymond made it for her right away! I wanted to have salmon salad too. I didn't ask you to make it for me.
I just asked you to order me some, but you wouldn't! You don't love me anymore! Men are all jerks. I just had the baby and you started to hate me! Now you don't care about me anymore! I'm not going to eat that! I'd better starve to death!"
