"Any reward for the winner?"
Raymond turned back and looked at her. Under the sunlight, he looked less apathetic and more refined.
Scarlett thought for a moment and asked," Any suggestions?"
Raymond looked at her and voiced his thought, "If I win, you’ll call me hubby from now on."
He paused, "If you win, I will call you wifey."
Scarlett was amused. "Either way, you're the one to benefit."
What was the point of this bet? He occasionally called her wifey anyway.
Met with her disapproval, Raymond corrected his suggestion. "If you win, I'll promise you one thing."
Scarlett looked at him, arched her brow, and asked, "Anything?"
"Yeah, anything."
"Deal."
Scarlett hadn't come up with one yet, but life was long. She would have enough time to think about it.
Half an hour later.
Scarlett watched Raymond's last ball slowly enter the hole and curled her lips to smile. "Okay, you won."
As soon as she finished her speech, Raymond came up and said, "You lost, wifey.”
Scarlett's face burned. She looked into his dark eyes, pursed her lips, and said, "Hubby.
It was not that difficult, but a little awkward.
