Scarlett had always been a sophisticated negotiator. She was silent for a few seconds, and then she went on slowly, "It’s a huge deal. Mr. Howard, you don't need to rush to a decision at the moment. I'll give you three days to think about it. In three days, if you think it’s a good deal, come to Mornet. I will be waiting for you here."
"And if you are not happy with the deal, that's OK. A deal should be beneficial to both parties. I won’t force you to work with us."
Scarlett’s words were firm yet flexible, which offered choice for Brycen.
However, after what had just happened, Scarlett’s words had a different meaning to
Brycen's ears.
Brycen felt that Scarlett meant more than her words. ‘A deal should be beneficial to both parties. But right now, Scarlett doesn't look so happy about the deal.'
Brycen glanced aside at Caroline, and he clearly knew why Scarlett was not so happy about the deal.
His face changed color slightly. The price Scarlett offered was half a billion dollars lower than he expected, and Brycen was not happy with it. He looked at Scarlett and sensed that Scarlett was definitely not going to make any more concessions.
It seemed that $4 billion was Scarlett's final offer. If Bryce was OK with it, then they could make a deal. But if Bryce wanted more, he would have to look for another buyer.
"Ms. Reed, I trust you. Since you said $4 billion, that's it. Deal! But I have a minor request."
Scarlett raised an eyebrow, "Please go ahead."
"I hope that when Oschane Corporation develops overseas markets in the future, please consider our company first."
Scarlett smiled, "No problem! Congratulate on our cooperation, Mr. Howard!"
Oschane Corporation hadn't gotten a slice of the domestic market yet, and it would be five years before it developed a foreign market.
Brycen's "minor request" was a cunning one, but Scarlett didn't think it was a big deal.
"Good to work with you, Ms. Reed."
