Scarlett smiled, "Secretary Lewis shouldn’t really want you to come back."
Raymond scooped up the soup and put the bowl in front of Scarlett. "Ignore him."
"Mm-hmm."
Scarlett didn't mean for real. What’s more, Frank couldn't affect Raymond.
Raymond left for Tenton at 8:30 in the morning. Scarlett wanted to go to the garden to see how the roses were growing, but suddenly it started raining, and the weather became cold. So Scarlett didn't want to go out and get wet. She took out the hydrangea that Raymond bought last night, re-trimmed it, and then put it in a new vase.
As soon as Raymond arrived at Tenton, Frank bobbed up and said, "Mr. Shaw."
"What's wrong?"
"Caroline didn't get on the plane. She's still in Juanton City."
Raymond frowned when he heard Caroline's name. "If she doesn't leave, I'll get even with her."
"Okay, Mr. Shaw."
Frank didn't dare to say anything else. He knew that Raymond hated Caroline very much.
The meeting started at 9:30 a.m. and ended at 10:30 a.m.
After Raymond came out of the meeting room, he threw the document to Frank and said, "You handle this matter."
Mr. Shaw.
When Frank was about to say something, his assistant came running and said," There's a lady downstairs named Caroline Moody who wants to see you."
As soon as Frank heard about Caroline’s name, he didn't feel good. Frank glanced at Raymond subconsciously. As expected, Raymond immediately changed his expression and said, "I don’t want to see her."
Frank's assistant realized that Raymond was in a bad mood and was stunned. The next moment, he thought of what the woman said and continued, "That lady said that she has something about a gentleman named Devin Roach that you will be interested in."
