"Mr. Dane?"
Cindy had forgotten about what had happened that day, which had been nearly 12 years ago. She was less than 12 then, and she could not recall the details of it.
However, it didn’t matter at that moment. The elevator door opened, but Harley had not come to his senses.
The elevator stopped on the 17th floor, where Harley's office was. Cindy hesitated for a while and addressed him as Mr Dane.
The familiar address made Harley come to his sense. He took a look at Cindy, a flicker of delight in his cold eyes, "Yes."
He then stepped out.
The news of Harley and Cindy's relationship spread throughout the company all morning.
During the lunch break, Cindy went to the washroom, and several women who were discussing their relationship came in.
"Tut-tut, reserved president and cute secretary. Perfect match!"
"Secretary James is really lovely. Honestly, if I were a man, I would go after her."
"Come on. Secretary James is Mr. Dane's! I knew it on her first day at work.”
This remark excited others’ interest." What? How did you know?"
"I just noticed some details. Didn’t you notice that Mr. Dane changed his hairstyle and tie that day? Besides, the planning department staff didn’t finish the emergency plan that day. Instead of going mad, Mr. Dane just asked them to finish it by the end of the day!”
"Yeah. The other day I met Mr. Dane and Secretary James in the elevator, uh-guess what? Secretary's heel was too high that she stumbled and almost fell when she walked out of the elevator. You know what? Mr. Dane reached out to steady her!"
"God, that's so sweet! Our company was supposed to collaborate with Yahr Corporation on a project worth more than $ 30 million last month. Though the contract was ready, there wasn't a deal! I thought the Yahr Corporation disdained to work with us! Good Heavens! Now, that explains a lot!"
