"I'll go with you!”
Harley shouldn’t know her shoe size, and this pair of shoes was to match her bridesmaid dress. Even if she had to change a different pair of shoes, she needed to pick a pair to go with her dress.
"There are no spare shoes in the car. You can't wear these anymore." Harley’s tone was gentle but resolute.
Harley was considerate of Cindy, so she obeyed. She compressed her lips and murmured, "Okay. I'll wait in the car until you get back."
"Good girl." Seeing Cindy's cute look, Harley couldn't help but lift his hand to touch her hair.
"Stop! Don't touch my hair."
Cindy guessed what Harley wanted to do, so she quickly stopped him.
He glanced at Cindy's delicate braid and withdrew his hand. "Wait for me. I'll be back in ten minutes."
"OK." Cindy nodded. She rested her chin on the car window and watched Harley walking into the mall.
In Harley's absence, Cindy took her phone out.
In the chat group, there were tons of messages teasing about her and Harley. Cindy took a quick look. She complained that her friends were so mean, but she actually felt happy in her heart.
Vicky and the others should go on break.
No one was sending messages at the moment.
Cindy went through all the photos again and saved the ones she had missed earlier.
After that, she quickly put her phone back in her bag as if she felt guilty to check her phone.
Harley returned exactly ten minutes later. When he came back, he didn't just carry a bag with a shoe box, but also a cake.
