Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 1212

"Actually, it's fine.”

Cindy's phone suddenly lit up. She took a look at it. Someone sent a message to their roommates’ chat group.

Before she checked the message, she could guess what it was about.

She subconsciously snapped her phone over and suggested to Harley, “It’s early. Shall we go to have some evening snack?"

"Sure."

Harley watched her for a moment. Then he just drove away from the James family villa.

When Harley dropped Cindy back at the

James family's villa, it was already 11 p.m.

Cindy unbuckled her seat belt and opened the car door. Suddenly, she had an inspiration, and she turned around when Harley wasn't looking and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'm not upset.

Actually, I'm happy because everyone now knows you're my boyfriend."

Immediately after that, she got out of the car with a blushed face and ran straight into the villa.

When Harley regained his senses, Cindy was already inside the villa and waving good night to him.

Harley lifted his hand and touched his cheek where Cindy had just kissed him. After quite a while, he started the car again and drove away.

The James house used not to have curfew, but since Cindy started dating Harley, Stephen required her to be home by eleven o'clock every night.

This evening, however, Cindy came back home late again.

Cindy knew Stephen had dinner with business partners and that he might have been drunk, so she planned to sneak quietly upstairs, so Stephen who was lying on the couch wouldn't notice her.

At last, after a consultation, Cindy's teacher was sent to talk to Margaret.

Stephen didn't know how the teacher communicated with Margaret. But after that, the rumors about Cindy being kept by a man disappeared.

Three years had passed. Now Stephen recalled the incident, and he was still angry.

Cindy had thought Stephen was going to lecture her. She was surprised when Stephen mentioned that matter. For a moment, she was confused, "Yes, that's her. What's wrong?"

"She's way out of boundary. For the rumors she started three years ago, I let her go because you said she was a student. But now you've both graduated, and she's an adult. She should take responsibility for her doings!"

"You don't have to worry about that. I'll take care of it. A client gave me a handbag today. It's on the table. You can have it. It’s late. Go to bed."

Stephen rubbed his temples and said nothing more. But in the back of his mind, he was contemplating how to teach

Margaret a lesson.
