Fearing that Scarlett's heavy wedding dress might tire her, Raymond asked her stylist to help her change as soon as they got to the villa.
After taking the dress off, Scarlett put on a comfortable white dress. She sat on the edge of the bed, almost finishing removing her headwear and earrings when Raymond got in with a bowl of porridge. "Tired out, aren't you?” he asked.
Scarlett shook her head, "No. What about you? You must be worn out."
After all, he had to do push-ups before a lot of tricky games in order to get near to his bride just now. Any man might be tired out after an hour of exciting tasks.
"It was nothing so long as I can get to my bride. Besides, those games were just a piece of cake. I’m fine, really.”
While comforting her, Raymond sat beside her and passed a spoon of porridge to her mouth.
Scarlett was a bit hungry and she didn't refuse the food. But she could not help raising her eyebrow hearing Raymond's denial, "Now you are speaking glibly again."
Raymond looked down at her with affection and stressed, "I was telling the truth.”
Swallowing another spoon of porridge, Scarlett didn't say anything to argue, and just focused on eating the porridge Raymond fed her.
The ceremony would start at seven o'clock in the evening, and when Scarlett finished the porridge, it was already four pm.
Considering that Scarlett had got up very early to get prepared this morning, Raymond let her have a nap and went downstairs to entertain the guests himself.
Luckily, the guests were all good friends of theirs, and even the best man and the bridesmaid knew each other. As for the Tank Family, Raymond was quite familiar with them, so there wasn't much work to do.
Rowan was rather excited but was persuaded to rest in the room given his age and the fact that he had just got out of the hospital.
Ben and his wife had also retired to the guest room in case they might spoil the young people's fun.
So, Larry was the only member of the Tank family in the living room when Raymond got down.
