The Shaw Residence was a rather large house, and only Scarlett and Raymond would be living here. Scarlett was not used to living in such a hollow house.
The villa had been redecorated. It was fully equipped with intelligent domestic facilities, with an Al housekeeper. The garden had been ploughed and planted with Scarlett's favorite flowers. The nanny's room near the garden was now a tea room, and the wall next to the garden had been reconstructed and fitted with a floor-to-ceiling window. Out of the window was the garden.
It was winter. The view was a bit stark. But when spring came, the flowers would bloom. Sitting in the tea room on a rainy day and looking out the window watching the garden and the rain would be such a pleasure.
In the courtyard, there was a barbecue.
Raymond probably got the idea from their last trip on vacation.
Scarlett and Raymond walked together around the garden. The Shaw Residence had been completely transformed.
"Would you like to go inside and let me show you around?"
Scarlett tilted her head at Raymond, "Sure."
Scarlett didn't take a good look at the redecorated house in the rush of the wedding yesterday.
On the second floor, there was a living room, dining room, a kitchen and three guest rooms. The living room adjoined the dining room. Next to the stairs, there was an open space.
On the third floor, there had been two large bedrooms, two guest bedrooms, and a study. Raymond's grandfather used to live in a room on the fourth floor.
Raymond turned the two large bedrooms into a larger bedroom and added a work area inside. The study and a guest bedroom were remodeled into one large room to be used as a game room for their baby. The other guest bedroom was converted into a baby's room.
The fourth floor was redesigned into a home theater and lounge area. The attic on the roof was now a utility room.
The redesigned house had a clearer partition of functional areas. The old layout had been reorganized, and the house was much better lit.
Scarlett followed Raymond around the house. There were not many traces of the old days left in this residence.
Before Scarlett could get out of the front gate, Raymond had approached her.
He took his coat off and tried to put it on Scarlett's shoulder, but she quickly stopped him. "It’s not far. I'm not cold!"
Coming out of the heated building, Scarlett didn’t feel particularly cold.
Besides, their car was parked not a long distance away. Scarlett felt fine.
Raymond's eyes twinkled. He resolutely covered his coat over her shoulder and wrapped his arm around her shoulder." Stay warm."
Raymond was tall and had broad shoulders, so his coat easily wrapped Scarlett up.
Gusts of wind blew from time to time, but Scarlett felt she was completely enveloped in Raymond's warmth.
