As Raymond looked at the text message, a grim look was written all over his expressionless face.
Frank received the text message and soon brought someone with him. When he got out of the car and saw Raymond, he froze for a moment.
He had been Raymond's secretary for many years, so he had already seen this kind of scene. "Mr. Shaw, I've already had someone check some security footage from the neighborhood."
Raymond gave him a look. "Check the mail's security footage first."
He said and then called Jake.
At that moment, Jake, who was making out with a woman, received the call. Without thinking too much, he looked down and kissed the woman beside him hurriedly. Then, as he put on his pants, he said," Something's happened to Scarlett. I'm going to go help Raymond to find her. Just wait for me in the apartment until I get back."
Yolanda Quinn was also stunned. "What's happened to Scarlett? Mr. Shaw doesn't allow her to go out anymore since she got pregnant, does he?"
She lifted the covers and was about to get out of bed while Jake lifted his hand and held her down. "1 don’t know yet. Be good and wait for me to come back."
Yolanda froze and finally gave in and let go. "Well, be safe."
Jake, who had reached the door, suddenly looked back at her and smiled. "I got it."
After saying that, he said nothing more and hurriedly pulled the door open and went out.
When Jake arrived at the mall, Raymond had already investigated the security footage.
He walked over to Raymond. "What's going on?"
Hearing his voice, Raymond didn't look back at Jake and quickly explained the situation to him in brief words. "Scarlett came out to meet with Miss Carter today. Then the two of them parted after four in the afternoon. Scarlett called me at 5:00 p.m. to come to pick her up, but when I came over, I found her gone."
The Thomas family was a family of lawyers, so Jake had a lot of exposure to similar cases and had a lot of connections, so Raymond asked him to come over and help with the investigation.
Jake frowned. "Where's the security camera?"
"It's broken."
"Dammit! What a time!"
