Blaze hung up the phone, turned around, and saw Luis exit the game, so he asked,' Who were you playing with?"
Luis tossed his phone aside and picked up his book. "A dumbass."
'That girl must be a dumbass! So stupid! She was ashamed of losing the game, so she bought me a skin?'
Although the skin was not expensive and just worth $28.80, Luis never bought any skins or weapons in the game.
Luis was good at the game and he liked playing assassin jungler. He was smart and had an agile brain. The game was so easy for him that he got bored.
And the skins in the game were all virtual.
He would rather buy a big burger.
Last night he thought Kira was the kind of girl who would use him to improve her own scores, and that she came to him on purpose. Today, however, when Luis logged into the game, a gift alert popped up. Luis had never bought any skins in the game, so this was his first one.
The game occasionally offered free skins, but Luis wasn't interested. So even though he had played the game for so long, he didn't have a single skin.
Fancy skins didn’t appeal to Luis. He only liked to practice attack tactics.
Luis thought Kira would use the game to hit on him, but Kira said nothing to him.
Luis knew he misunderstood the girl. The girl was not using him to gain scores, but was an idiot.
Blaze raised an eyebrow, "You play games with an idiot?"
"It's fun to play with idiots sometimes."
Luis didn't want to go on the talk. He opened his book, grabbed his laptop, and started working on his programming.
Blaze didn't ask any more questions. "You can turn to me if you have a problem."
Immediately after that, Blaze realized he was a fool. When did Luis ever have a problem?
It was Alison's second night since she moved to the Lynchs' house. Last night she had tossed and turned in bed and hadn't slept the whole night. Tonight, after lying in bed for half an hour, she finally drifted off to sleep.
But she did not sleep well. She had a dream. She dreamed that she was playing a game with Tong again and that she had made him lose the game again. This time Tong was not as nonchalant as before but scolded her.
Alison felt so ashamed that she almost burst out crying. Suddenly, she opened her eyes and realized it was a dream.
