In the past month, she indeed hadn't been able to see the blackboard clearly.
Otherwise, she wouldn't have done poorly in taking notes.
The head teacher froze, looked down at Alison, and found that she was indeed unsuitable to sit there. However, Luis had always been in the last column.
After a moment of hesitation, the head teacher asked, "Would you like to move to the front?"
Luis said nothing. Alison pursed her lips, too embarrassed to say something.
The headteacher then made the decision for them. "Alright, you can choose a
position in the middle!"
Lest Luis should regret it, the head teacher went back to the podium.
Many students had heard the teacher's speech.
Some envied Alison, and others envied Luis.
Alexa looked back at Alison and pitifully pouted.
Alison hadn't expected the head teacher to let her continue to share the desk with
Luis. She looked apologetically at Alexa, bit her lip, and mouthed, "Sorry."
Alexa giggled, drawing the head teacher's attention. In a hurry, she sat upright and made a hand heart gesture toward Alison.
While the head teacher was analyzing the students' overall performance in the midterm exam, the seating chart was passed on to Luis.
The two of them pocketed the highest and second-highest grades. By rights, they could choose their seats as they liked. However, Luis was tall. If he sat in the middle, the visions of those students behind him would be blocked.
Moreover, Luis had never liked to sit in the middle.
