Alison was embarrassed. She took out her French book from her school bag and started to read the words, while Alexa soon fell asleep. She probably stayed up late last night. She slept from 1:00 to 2:00. She didn’t wake up until after Alison called her several times.
When they got to the library, it was 2:30. Alison had finished her French paper and most of her English paper, except for the essay.
When Alexa arrived at the library, she was still yawning constantly. When she sat down, she was in a trance. She didn't sober up and concentrate on her homework until after 4:00.
The two stayed in the library until 6 p.m. until Alexa's mom came to pick them up.
By the time Alison got back to the Lynch family's house, it was 6:30. Blaze came home today, and Alison was happy, "Blaze, you're home."
"Yes." Blaze nodded and handed her a lipstick. "I got it in the raffle."
Alison was surprised, "Is it for me?"
Blaze laughed, "What else? Did you expect me to put lipstick on my own lips?"
Alison blushed. She reached out and took the lipstick, "Thank you."
Blaze smiled, "You’re welcome."
Luis was coming down the stairs. Seeing the lipstick in Alison's hand, he raised an eyebrow. He went to sit next to Blaze. "You got lucky."
Blaze replied, "I'm surprised too."
Luis grunted, "Didn't the girls ask you for the lipstick?"
Blaze's hand holding the fork stopped in the air, and he answered, "Yes, they all wanted it, so I brought it back to Alison."
Blaze only had one lipstick. And they all were his classmates. He couldn't give it to one girl and let the others down. Then he remembered Alison, so he said he was going to take it home to give it to Alison.
Since Blaze said that, the girls had to give up.
