Alison and Luis left the office and went back to the supermarket to find their shopping cart. But the salesperson had already emptied their shopping cart and put the items back on the shelves.
Luis was not annoyed. He got a new cart and quickly got the items he had chosen earlier again.
Alison watched Luis grabbing so many items, even more than before. She wanted to say something to stop him, but she was worried that these were all Luis' favorite snacks and it would be nosy of her to give her opinion, so she didn’t say it.
Luis had enough snacks. He then turned to Alison, "Let's go get the tissues.”
Alison froze for two seconds. Then she came to her senses and nodded, "OK."
She had thought that after what had just happened, Luis might probably lose interest in shopping.
Actually, Alison didn’t need tissues. It was just she saw Luis keep grabbing snacks, so she said she wanted to buy some tissues. Tissues were a necessity anyway. She could buy some and keep them at home. She would need them sooner or later.
But since Luis remembered she wanted to buy tissues, she had to follow him to get some tissues.
After they got everything, they went to the self-checkout counter. Alison put everything in the shopping bag. When she saw the total amount, she was shocked.
'It's more than 800 dollars...’
Alison threw a glance at Luis. She did believe that boys could sometimes be extravagant in spending money.
Luis didn’t think much about it. He used not to have snacks, and he rarely bought snacks. Today he bought these for Alison, and since Alison was shy to tell him what she liked, he bought a little of each.
If there was something Alison didn't like, Luis and Blaze could take them. It wouldn't be a waste.
Luis bought too much stuff. He and Alison came on their bikes. They couldn't take so many goods home. The two had to carry the stuff back to the supermarket and had them delivered to the Lynch family's villa.
