Slightly twitching her mouth, Scarlett took out her phone to call Raymond.
"I apologize to you for what Thomas has done. Please withdraw the lawsuit, Scarlett."
During the three years when Scarlett was Raymond's wife, Jean had never demeaned herself. She had never said anything to Scarlett even if she wanted to thank Scarlett, let alone apologize to Scarlett.
Jean thought that it was Scarlett’s honor to accept her apology.
If Scarlett still refused to withdraw the lawsuit, Jean planned to teach her a lesson.
"Scarlett, don't go too far. Raymond hasn't intervened i n this matter. If he intervenes, it won't be so easy to deal with the matter."
When Scarlett heard Tiffany's words, she couldn't help laughing. "Really? That's fine. I really want to know how Raymond will deal with it."
As she spoke, she put her phone near her ear, as Raymond had answered her call. "Mr. Shaw, I think you have heard Tiffany’s words clearly."
Raymond on the other end of the phone hardened his face and said, "I've heard the words. You don't need to
care about them."
Scarlett smiled. "Of course. But I don't really like them standing in front of my villa. If they don't leave within an hour, I'll call the police."
"Sorry, I'll come right now."
"Ok."
Scarlett hung up. "Mr. Shaw will be here soon. If you have anything to say, just wait for him to come and say it. I have no obligation to listen to you."
Then she raised her hand to lock the car window.
Jean hardened her face and Tiffany ran directly to the front of the car.
Scarlett just started driving for a few seconds.
Although she slammed on the brakes, she still hit Tiffany.
As soon as Scarlett bumped into her, Tiffany lay on the front of her car. "Mom, my leg hurts! It hurts!"
