"That is indeed a coincidence. I also live in Urgalahoma."
"I'll drive you home."
Scarlett thought for a while. It was not appropriate to continue refusing.
She smiled slightly. She was about to say yes when a familiar male voice came.
"Scarlett."
It was Raymond.
Usually, people could only see Raymond on TV.
Now when Scarlett’s classmates saw him, they were a little surprised.
Denzel, who planned to take Scarlett home, was stunned. ‘How can Raymond come here? Shouldn’t he be in Juanton?'
Some people guessed the answer when they saw Scarlett.
The smile on Scarlett's face faded away. "What's the matter, Mr. Shaw?"
Raymond walked over. "I have something to ask you."
Raymond didn't really know Scarlett’s personality
until a year of divorce.
When she said that she didn't want to see him, it was true. She didn’t lie.
The moment he appeared, he noticed that the smile o n Scarlett's face faded away.
She was willing to smile at her old classmates, whom she hadn't seen for ten years. But she was so cold towards him.
Raymond knew that if he hadn't gone straight to the point, her next sentence would have been "Now that there is nothing, I'll leave."
Looking at Raymond for several seconds, she turned t o look at Denzel. "I'm sorry. I have something to do."
Then Scarlett looked at the others behind Denzel. "I'm sorry. I have something to do, so I'll leave first."
He knew that Scarlett was able. But he just wanted to b e closer to her.
Walking out of the banquet hall, Scarlett stepped into the elevator. Raymond followed behind her.
She glanced at him. "It's inconvenient to speak here. M r. Shaw, do you mind us going to a quieter place?"
"No."
Raymond shook his head. When he stared at Scarlett's charming eyes, his Adam's apple moved slightly.
Why hadn't he realized that Scarlett's eyes were so charming even when she was angry?
The elevator quickly reached the third floor. Scarlet walked out first and stepped into the bar of the hotel.
The hotel manager happened to be there. When he saw Scarlett, he wanted to greet her. But when he noticed her expression, he stopped.
'Well, I'd better not greet Ms. Reed. She doesn't seem to be in a good mood.'
