Half an hour later, Scarlett's car pulled up in front of the Cloudhill Hotel. 1
In no time, Derek Lever, the hotel manager's assistant, who had been waiting for her at the front door, walked up and greeted, "Ms. Reed!"
Scarlett smiled, "How's it going? They got into a fight inside?"
Derek was fascinated by Scarlett's smile. He had just graduated not long ago. He blushed. "No, they didn't get into a fight. Our manager has been waiting for you."
Scarlett looked at him with light smiles in her eyes," Where are they now?"
"They're in the manager's office."
"OK." Scarlett responded. Then she got into the elevator.
"I've called the police. The police are coming later! You have someone bring them to the reception room."
Scarlett had a nonchalant look on her face. She sounded like she'd called a friend over for dinner.
Derek froze for a moment. After a few seconds, he came to himself. "Okay, Ms. Reed... I'll have someone
notify the front desk."
Scarlett asked smilingly, "How many of them have come?"
"Everyone from the Hudson family is here."
Scarlett smiled, "Brilliant! Did they think they could win with more people?
What were they thinking about?
The elevator arrived shortly, and Scarlett was led by Derek to the manager's office.
Before she entered the office, Derek looked at her with a worried look, "Ms. Reed, be careful. Our manager just got scratched by them."
Scarlett raised her eyebrows slightly, "Open the door."
