Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 198

Although she wanted to keep away from him, he gave her his blessing. It would be impolite if she ignored him.

After saying that, Scarlett pushed open the door and got out of the car.

Raymond also got out of the car and handed the box to her again. "It's not expensive. Even if I'm a stranger to you, I can give it to you, right?"

Scarlett looked down at the box with a faint smile. " Yes, but I can refuse it."

She swiped the key card and stepped in her boots into the hall.

Raymond stood in the doorway without following her. He watched her through the door.

Before entering the elevator, Scarlett glanced out the door.

Raymond was still standing there. The dim street light beamed down on his face. His cold eyes were profound like an ocean.

Scarlett was stunned. The elevator slowly opened in front of her. She withdrew her gaze and walked in.

Her heart lurched.

Watching Scarlett enter the elevator, Raymond looked down at the box in his hand.

He didn't lie to Scarlett. It wasn't a valuable gift, but it was the first time he made a gift for someone and was refused. He felt depressed.

He knew he couldn't be greedy. He saw Scarlett's cold, impulsive, and valiant sides tonight, which he hadn't seen before.

Raymond thought for a while and felt that it was a rewarding night.

He returned to the car. Alexander sent him a message two minutes ago.

Alexander sent him messages every day lately, but Raymond didn't bother to reply.

He was in a good mood today, so he replied to him.

Alexander asked him where he went. Raymond directly sent him his location.
