Looking up at Raymond who was standing outside of her car, Scarlett smiled, "I recommend you not to push your luck, Raymond Shaw."
After that, Scarlett wound down the window and stepped on the accelerator as the car gradually went away, leaving Raymond with nothing but the dust.
Under the moonlight, Raymond stood there until Scarlett totally disappeared, and then he went back to his apartment.
With the sound of a "click", the smart lock was opened up and the door retracted backward for about ten centimeters.
Raymond slightly pushed the door which was wide open afterwards.
The huge living room was very empty. Back then, he choose this apartment because it was open, quiet, and cozy, but at this moment, it seemed too quiet and cold for him.
It was still chilly at the end of February in Juanton City. Raymond felt a burst of coldness in the room without a heater. He walked toward the sofa and sat down, thinking back a lot of things and laughing out.
Hindsight was easier than foresight.
Suddenly his phone was ringing. He shot a glance at it and frowned when seeing the phone number because he didn't want to take Alexander's call.
"What is it?"
Alexander over the other end of the phone laughed out, "You won Scarlett's heart?"
'What do you expect from a pig but a grunt?' he thought.
Raymond didn't say anything but hung it up. He looked at the cup on the table, remembering how beautiful Scarlett was when she made coffee in her villa yesterday.
It was a quarter past eight when Scarlett arrived at her villa. Since it was not late, Scarlett made an orange juice and then sat on the sofa while talking over the phone with Alexis.
"How is it going? When will Ethen fix Julie?"
Scarlett smiled, "Very soon."
Alexis was very excited, "You made Ethen so angry, but is he going to punish Julie?"
