Alexander was kicked out directly by Raymond of his sick room. As for what Scarlett had said that day, nobody knew except Scarlett herself and Raymond.
Raymond had been hospitalized for ten days, during which a lot of people had visited him, including those who were not supposed to pay a visit. Of course, all credits went to Alexander's updates on WhatsApp.
However, the person Raymond wanted to see most hadn't come.
It had been raining a lot in March in Juanton City.
After being discharged from the hospital, the first thing Raymond did was to ask Frank about whether Centel had found investors or not.
Frank was surprised about the question. Luckily, as a diligent and cautious secretary, he kept an eye on everything related to Raymond, no matter how small it was.
Last month, Raymond asked him to make an appointment with Mr. Woods from Centel. Raymond hadn't said what it was about, but he had asked his assistant to pay attention to Centel just to play safe.
When Raymond asked him the question, he came up with the answer quickly after thinking for a while. "It hasn't been decided yet. Tsing Corporation wants to
take 20% of the share, but Mr. Woods didn't say yes and he has been trying positively to contact Mornet Corporation," he replied.
Raymond sneered, "Make a phone call to Ethen Woods and tell him he will not get a penny from any investor i f he fails to handle the problem we have discussed in three days."
The problem the Centel was faced with could not be fixed with hundreds of millions but at least 2 billion. N o one could invest 2 billion easily, which meant Raymond was not bragging. The company which could give this amount of money were very few. Tsing Corporation was owned by Stephen and Scarlett was i n charge of Mornet Corporation. If Ethen wanted to settle for second best, he could only choose from Vantonna Corporation and TK. However, he was the shareholder of Vantonna Corporation, and the CEO from TK was his friend.
It was like a piece of cake if Raymond wanted to burn Centel's bridges.
Frank immediately nodded, "Got it, Mr. Shaw."
It had been more than half a month since Raymond's accident, so Ethen thought that event about Julie was now history.
The Suny from Mornet Corporation repeatedly refused to meet him while the conditions put forward by Tsing Corporation were too tough. He planned to take Tsing Corporation as his plan B.
As good as the plan was, the call from Raymond's secretary this morning made his face pale.
It turned out Raymond had been keeping it in his mind.
Ethen could not understand why Raymond still cared about Scarlett so much after their divorce.
Thinking back to the day when Scarlett pointed her fingers at his nose to criticize him, he was occupied with anger again which once had disappeared.
But no matter how angry he was, it didn't help. He totally believed that Raymond was capable of burning the bridges if he kept putting it off.
