Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 284

Now that he said that, Scarlett could only reply, "It's just a meal."

There was no need to quarrel.

Alexis' mouth twitched. She stopped taunting Alexander since Scarlett was here.

Scarlett smiled at Alexis, poured her a cup of water, and winked at her to calm her down.

Alexis grunted and sipped her water. She suddenly remembered something. "Which one of your friends d o you mean? Do we know her or him? Is it Raymond?"

Alexander, who had just sent the room number to someone, crossed his legs and grinned at Alexis and Scarlett, revealing his white teeth. "Ms. Carter, you're s o smart."

Alexis was speechless. She wanted to curse this man.

Scarlett stopped drinking her water, smiling faintly at Alexander. "You did that on purpose, right?"

Alexander somehow felt guilty, avoiding her eyes. " Don't say that. It's just a coincidence."

Alexis snorted. "What an odd coincidence!"

She was surprised that Raymond's friends were so nice to him, though he was a jerk.

Scarlett raised an eyebrow. "Okay, I'll remember it."

Alexander's heart shivered. The slight smile on Scarlett's face sent chills up his back.

Yet things had been done, and the location had been sent. He would make a fool of himself if he retreated now.

To ease the embarrassment, Alexander changed the subject. "Ms. Carter, you've just finished a TV drama, haven't you?"

"You know quite a lot."

"I guessed it."

Alexis snorted. "Then why don't you guess what I want to do now?"
