Scarlett froze. They had got married for three years, but Raymond had never hugged her.
He said, "I believe what you have said, Scarlett."
He just hugged her slightly. Except for breaking into her home despicably, he was like a gentleman for the hug.
Soon, he let go. When he saw the tears at the corners o f her eyes, he raised his hand and wanted to wipe the tears for her. She tilted her head slightly to avoid his hand.
He raised his hand in the air for a while. Then he put his hand down and said, "Go to bed. Don't worry about me. I will be fine after I wake up tomorrow morning."
He said the same words as Alexander. She glanced at him indifferently and went upstairs.
But she didn't sleep well tonight. She was half asleep and didn't know if she was dreaming or not.
When the doorbell rang, she was woken up from dreams suddenly.
She sat up suddenly. Hilla reminded her that someone was outside the villa.
The rain had stopped. It was bright outside. Scarlett
took her phone from the nightstand and confirmed what time it was now.
Unexpectedly, it was 9 a.m.
She didn't fall asleep until midnight. It was much later than the time when she went to bed usually. It was normal that she woke up so late today.
The man outside the villa might be Alexander. She wasn't in a hurry to open the door. She washed her face, brushed her teeth and changed her clothes. Only then did she go downstairs to open the door.
When she arrived on the second floor, Raymond walked out of the guest room.
He was more energetic than last night.
She glanced at him and didn't mention what had happened last night. She said, "Mr. Smith has arrived."
He said, "I see."
Hearing her insinuation, Alexander smiled and didn't care about it. He said, "You haven't eaten breakfast, right? I have brought breakfast from..."
Before Alexander finished speaking, she interrupted him and said, "Mr. Smith reminds me that I haven't eaten breakfast yet. I have to make breakfast first. Bye. n
Then she stepped back and pushed the bolt with a loud sound. The villa doors were closed.
Alexander carried breakfast and paused. He looked at Scarlett who was walking into the villa. Then he looked at Raymond and asked, "What has happened?
She allowed you to come in last night. Why does she lock you out now?"
Raymond glanced at him and said, "Don't you know that? Scarlett doesn't allow you to come in."
Raymond was stuck for words.
'What the hell?'
