Scarlett on the other end of the phone said in a little confused tone. "Frank?"
Raymond hung up at once. Then he looked at Frank coldly. "Don't tell her I made the call."
After speaking, he returned to the office, with a dark expression on his face.
‘Well-done! She blocked my phone number.’
At the same time, Scarlett, who had just read the investigation result by the public relations department, looked down at her phone and couldn't help frowning.
Alexis, who was happily ordering a meal across from her, saw her frowning and asked. "Who called you?"
"Raymond’s secretary, Frank."
As soon as she heard "Raymond", Alexis felt as if she faced an enemy. "What does Raymond want to do?"
"He hung up as soon as I answered the call."
Alexis curled the corners of her mouth. "Maybe he had the wrong number."
Scarlett nodded, not caring about the call.
But she did need to contact Frank. After all, her
negative news was related to Raymond.
She had just put down her phone when Frank's call came again.
Scarlett raised her eyebrows. "Frank?"
"Miss Reed, I'm sorry. I was busy just now and accidentally dialed your number."
Frank had told a lot of lies. But when he lied to Scarlett, even though he lied to her on the phone, he still had an inexplicable sense of shame.
"Well."
