"Well, Scarlett, this must be a misunderstanding. Let's go and ask Raymond!"
Scarlett laughed. "You know Raymond and I have been divorced for more than a year."
"But..."
"That's enough."
Scarlett raised her hand and closed the elevator.
Alexander saw the smile on Scarlett's face fade as the elevator slowly closed. He felt that something terrible might happen.
What was wrong with Raymond?
Two days ago, Raymond was still chasing Scarlett and looked pitiful. Why did he suddenly send Emelia roses?
Alexander was so angry as if he were the one who was two-timed!
He hastily took out his phone and called Raymond. Raymond even dismissed it.
Alexander called him again. Raymond answered the phone this time.
"Come to the smoking area next to the restroom. I
have something to ask you."
Raymond frowned. "I'm talking to my guest."
"When you walked out of the elevator with Emelia just now, Scarlett and I happened to be standing at the corner to your right."
"Why is Scarlett here?"
"Come out first!"
Alexander hung up the phone and walked to the smoking area to wait for Raymond.
"Of course! Look at her face! She can do anything with i t!"
"Huh, I'm no match for her! Fortunately, she is not in showbiz. Otherwise, we would be upstaged!"
Alexander soon saw the two people who were talking. They were two actresses that played supporting roles i n "Lost Youth".
Alexander felt a chill down his spine. He looked at Raymond. "Raymond, I can explain. I just had a meal with the cast. I told you before! I had planned to take Scarlett to a bar after the meal and then call you over.
I did that to help you get back together!"
The more Alexander said, the more unconvincing he felt his words were. He gritted his teeth. "These guys don't put their minds on the right things! Don't stop m e. I have to fire them!"
Meanwhile, he looked back at Raymond.
Raymond stared frostily at him without stopping him.
