Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 380

To let him keep taking advantage of her?

Scarlett rose to her feet, walked to the side, picked up her Thermos bottle and, eyes downcast, began to drink water.

Raymond sat up and looked at Scarlett who was standing outside the field six or seven meters away from him.

A blush of embarrassment had spread from her neck all the way up to her ears, lending her an astonishing air of allure.

Raymond stroked the pulp of his finger as an almost overwhelming longing swept over him like a beast trying to burst out of its cage.

Scarlett, after drinking some water, became much more composed.

She flicked a glance at Raymond, gathered her things and directly pivoted around to leave.

Raymond changed his shoes and followed. After watching Scarlett duck into her car, he got into his own to tail her.

Scarlett looked into the rear-view mirror at the black sedan, but she didn't do anything about it.

She had to return the sleeve button to him, anyway. Him following her would spare her the trouble of having Katherine deliver it to him.

Scarlett drove straight back to her villa, and Raymond followed her there.

At something after four o'clock, the sky suddenly darkened, threatening rain.

Raymond was still wearing the sport T-shirt and shorts that he had put on in the boxing gym. As the sky became leaden, the wind grew chill.

He stood at the front gate of the villa, but he didn't ring the doorbell right away.

He knew that Scarlett was angry.

Scarlett parked the car, went upstairs, returned with the sleeve button and handed it to Raymond without opening the gate. "Ms. Esparza asked me to give you this."

Raymond frowned slightly. "Which Ms. Esparza?"

"Emelia Esparza."
