Two days later.
Raymond had a dinner party on Sunday. He called and asked Scarlett if she wanted to go with him, but Scarlett refused.
Raymond had to go to the dinner party by himself. Frank could feel from a distance that Raymond was not in a good mood.
He glanced at Raymond and asked tentatively, "Mr. Shaw, did you argue with Ms. Reed?"
Raymond glanced at Frank and wanted to scold him for asking, but after thinking for a moment, he asked,' Frank, do you have a girlfriend ?"
Frank, who had never been in love, answered, "No."
He felt embarrassed at that moment because he was single.
"Oh, then you don't understand."
Frank was speechless.
Scarlett had lunch with Alexis and Justin on Sunday. Justin was going abroad next Tuesday, which happened to be his birthday, so the three of them decided to celebrate it together in advance.
They hadn't had dinner or chatted together for a long
time. Scarlett had a few glasses of wine, so she called a designated driver to take her home.
After lunch, Raymond asked the driver to take him to Scarlett's villa.
He pressed the doorbell for a while, but no one opened the door.
The driver who did not dare to drive away could not help but ask, "Mr. Shaw, do you want to wait in the car?"
The sun was blazing at this time.
Raymond drank a few glasses of wine at noon. He felt hot when he was standing in the doorway.
But he just wanted to wait for Scarlett. He watched the driver and felt that he was in the way, so he waved his hand and said, "You can go."
Don’t get in the way of his date.
The driver nodded and said, "Okay."
Scarlett didn't drive her car, so she came back for a taxi.
When the car stopped at the villa door, she saw Raymond.
