"So what if Viviana knew it, Scarlett is not one of the Tank family! Would Viviana do anything to me for her? And we're just speaking of the truth. I meant well. I was not slandering Scarlett!" Jessie snapped. Then she glanced in the direction where Viviana and Scarlett had disappeared.
Although Jessie said so, she felt anxious.
She had been visiting Tank’s house a lot over the years, and Viviana had treated her like her a family. Grandpa Tank had been nice to her, too. Her years of dedication would not be ruined because of Scarlett, right?
The more Jessie thought about it, the more anxious she became. Her mood for shopping was gone. She looked at Mia and Joan, "You guys go on shopping. I'm going home."
Scarlett didn't take the incident with
Jessie on her mind. She didn't care about Jessie's trick. It was so childish.
What made Scarlett feel more overwhelmed was that Viviana insisted on buying her a handbag.
"Is there anything you like? This one is good. It's new. The color is versatile, and the style is simple. You can carry it around with you."
Viviana used to buy bags like shopping groceries. After making her comment, she let the clerk take the bag over.
"Viviana, I have quite a lot of handbags." Scarlett smiled helplessly.
Viviana inclined her head to glance at Scarlett, "It's okay. You can give it to your friends after you get home."
Well, then Alexis would be thrilled.
Seeing Viviana indulge in the pleasure of buying her beautiful clothes and jewelry, Scarlett didn't refuse her anymore.
The two went on shopping until 12:30. It was time for lunch. Finally, Viviana stopped shopping and found a restaurant.
