Before she could finish, her eyes brightened. She saw Raymond standing at the door and asked, "Shouldn’t you be in the meeting right now, Mr. Shaw?"
"It's over."
Raymond stared at her, pushed the door open, and went into the villa.
He had never experienced the feeling of missing someone so much before. He was away on business for three days and managed to get back as soon as possible. However, Scarlett wasn't in Juanton City the day he returned. He was absentminded during the meeting in the morning. As soon as the meeting ended, he drove to Scarlett's villa.
Scarlett blushed under his gaze.
She then turned around and went upstairs. After washing Raymond’s cup, she poured him a cup of water, "Didn't you have a lunch date?"
"Frank will blow it off."
The original date was the previous day, but Raymond was on a business trip and postponed it. Surprisingly, he even planned to cancel it.
"Well."
Scarlett took a sip of her water.
The villa was quiet. After a moment's silence, Raymond beckoned her over," Scarlette, come here."
After looking up at him, Scarlett put down the glass and went over.
Hardly had she walked to Raymond when he took her in his arms. The familiar smell made him feel at ease.
"Did you miss me?”
Scarlett looked at him and smiled, "Nope."
She actually missed him a little bit, but she didn't want him to know so that he wouldn’t be complacent.
Raymond didn’t believe that because her bashful expression betrayed her.
If she wasn’t so shy, he might believe her.
He looked her fondly in the eyes, T miss you.”
Scarlett could be phlegmatic about anything except Raymond's candid and sweet words.
She lowered her head and looked away with a blush.
