Scarlett knew that Larry wanted to help and support her. When she was in the Shaw's, Raymond's relatives often made things difficult for her. Now it was Raymond's turn. She wouldn't feel sorry for him.
'I'm such an unforgiving woman.'
After Larry finished speaking, he put down his fork, asked the waiter to take two sets of cutleries and ordered two dishes more. Then he looked up at Raymond and said," Miss Sheridan said that Mr. Shaw was pursuing Scarlett?"
Raymond said, "It's true."
Raymond looked at Larry and replied calmly.
Larry took a sip of water and said, "As far as I know, hasn't Mr. Shaw divorced Scarlett a year ago? Is it right?"
Raymond said, "Mr. Tank, you remember correctly."
Larry looked down at the cup. Raymond couldn't see his expression. Larry said, "I feel confused. You have divorced Scarlett for one year. Then why do you pursue her? If you like her, why did you get a divorce?"
Larry looked at him aggressively.
Raymond didn't feel afraid at all. He said, "I was too young and didn't know to cherish her. After I got a divorce, I gradually realize how excellent she is. I regretted it and decided to win her heart back."
Larry smiled faintly and said loudly, "You regret it, but it has nothing to do with Scarlett. You didn't cherish her before. Now you realize that you are wrong. Why should Scarlett forgive you?"
As soon as Larry finished speaking, he put the cup on the table with a loud sound.
Alexander was shocked by Larry while he was rubbernecking and eating. He was choked, and his face turned ashen.
Scarlett burst into laughter and poured a cup of water for him.
The atmosphere was not that tense because of Alexander.
Larry frowned, looked at Raymond and said, "Mr. Shaw, I think that you understand my meaning.”
Raymond said, "Mr. Tank, I understand your meaning, but I won't give up perusing after Scarlett unless she marries someone else and has children."
'Even if she marries someone else, I won't give up.' 'If she marries someone else, she can get a divorce. I won't give up unless she has children with someone else.'
