Scarlett said, yawning as she looked at her phone. "It's almost 10. p.m.”
An hour had passed before she knew it.
"Sleepy?"
Scarlett had a routine. She usually finished bathing before 10. p.m.
"Well, a little."
Raymond shook her hand. "Go and have a bath."
Scarlett didn't move, smiling at him. "What about you?"
"I'll deal with the watermelon."
They cut up a watermelon but just ate a
quarter of it.
Since Raymond was willing to clean up the mess, Scarlett didn't have to do it herself." I'm going to take a bath."
"Okay."
Raymond answered, watching her step up to the third floor. He then got up and took the remaining watermelon from the table to the kitchen.
As Scarlett came out of the bathroom, she saw Raymond hold a glass of watermelon juice.
She was stunned for a moment. "Did you make it yourself?"
The watermelon wouldn't taste so good tomorrow. Juicing it was not wasteful.
Raymond nodded. "Would you like to drink it?"
He drank a glass of juice before coming up. This one was for her.
Scarlett didn't like to eat much before going to bed, but watermelon juice was an exception. "Yes."
After drinking it, Scarlett glanced at the clock. "It's 10 p.m."
"Go to sleep."
He gently pressed the back of her head, leaned down, and kissed her lips. "You're so sweet."
Scarlett touched her burning face, looking at him, "When are you leaving?"
Raymond tapped on the glass. "Can I stay here?" "What do you think, Mr. Shaw?"
Scarlett walked up to him and pulled his loose collar.
She inadvertently scratched his throat. His eyes turned hot. He grabbed Scarlett's hands. "I don't want to walk back. "
