Ethen came out of his trance. He got up and shouted angrily, "What a great daughter you raised!"
Julie was sent away from Juanton City by Ethen that day. When she left, Julie didn’t know that she could no longer come back. Before she left, she even comforted her parents, telling them to take care of their health.
Ethen stood there with a stolid face, staring at her coldly. "If you still consider me as your father, I advise you not to cause any more trouble!"
Julie knew that she was wrong. She failed to give Scarlett a blow. Instead, Julie got Raymond involved.
Julie didn't know what her family had promised so that Raymond let her off.
Yet soon she knew it.
Julie listened to Ethen on the phone with disbelief. "From now on, you are not allowed to come back. You're not our daughter anymore!"
Hearing this, Julie was shocked.
Ethen was ruthless. For the sake of his son, he abandoned Julie. After sending her abroad, Ethen asked some people to watch Julie. Once she wanted to return to her country, she would be stopped.
A few days later, Scarlett knew that Julie had been sent away. After Julie disappeared, things quieted down in Juanton City.
In June, Juanton City became hot. The
wind at six o'clock in the evening was warm.
Scarlett got into the car, feeling a bit cooler.
When the car stopped, the sunset glow tinted the sky red.
As soon as Scarlett came out of the elevator, she saw the restaurant where Raymond had booked a table.
Today was Friday, but it was very quiet on this floor of the mall. Only a few people were coming and going.
