"Shut up!"
"What? You're going too far, Ray! I'm doing this for your own good. Don't you think I take credit for helping you get back together with Scarlett?"
Raymond snorted. "You are quite good at taking credit to yourself."
Alexander touched his nose. "But I should take at least a fifth, or even a tenth of the credit, right? If I had not advised you to tell Scarlett that you were wrong, you probably could not get back together with her until I get married and have a son!"
"Can you be cheekier, Alexander?"
Raymond suddenly knew how Scarlett felt
when he got too cheeky in front of her. He felt so helpless and angry now.
Although Alexander was indeed cheeky, he did inadvertently give Raymond some useful advice.
Raymond looked at him for a moment." Well, Rowan just didn't approve of me and Scarlett getting back together."
"We do not have arranged marriages anymore nowadays. It does not matter whether he approves or not. It is not a big deal."
It was easy for Alexander to say.
Raymond closed his eyes. He did not want to see Alexander again. "Go away."
If Alexander did not go, Raymond was going to kick him out.
Raymond only turned on one night light.
He looked really pathetic and frustrated in the dim light.
Alexander suddenly sympathized with Raymond. He said with a serious face, "But if you think Rowan is very important, why don't you try your best to please him? I do not mean that you should visit and flatter Rowan frequently. As long as you are nice to Scarlett, the Tank family will know your sincerity. In that case, you and Scarlett will have a happy ending."
"Please go away. Thanks, "Raymond replied.
He thought Alexander was talking nonsense.
Alexander was immediately displeased. " Hey. Am I wrong?"
After all, Alexander was popular among the elders, who regarded him as a young talent.
