There was an accident happened on the way to Scarlett’s home, so she was stuck in a traffic jam.
The phone in her bag suddenly rang at this time.
Scarlett thought that Raymond was calling her. But when she took out the phone from the bag, she found that it was from Larry.
She glanced at the front, and the cars were all waiting, so she answered the call.
"Hello, Larry.”
"Have you got home?"
"Not yet. The road is congested."
Larry on the other end of the phone raised
his hand to loosen his tie. "What did you talk to grandpa today?"
Scarlett heard the overtones of Larry's words. Because she mentioned that Larry hadn't gotten married to avoid talking about Raymond while having lunch with Rowan, now she felt a little guilty, "We just talked about my work and life"
"Really?"
Larry seemed to give a laugh, but Scarlett was not sure. "Grandpa asked me when I would get married."
Scarlett felt embarrassed, but she pretended not to understand his words. " Grandpa said he allowed me to be with Raymond, but I need to know other men."
Larry was silent for a while. "Grandpa is right.”
Feeling the schadenfreude in Larry's words, Scarlett said, "When will you find a girlfriend?"
"Don't worry about me so much. Worry about yourself."
Hearing what he said, Scarlett couldn't help but laugh. "When you are concerned with me, pay more attention to yourself."
Larry laughed. "Do you talk to Raymond the same way?"
Scarlett was really good at dissing others, and Larry suddenly sympathized with Raymond.
Scarlett flushed. "Are you trying changing the topic?"
