Scarlett and Raymond went back to the banqueting hall. Scarlett looked around and noticed that two women avoided her gaze when she glanced at them.
The world was small. Scarlett knew them.
They were Yvonne's friends, Sandy Chester and Heidi Frankie.
Unexpectedly, Yvonne's friends were still interested in Scarlett so much after Yvonne was sent abroad.
Scarlett arched her eyebrows and looked away calmly.
Raymond stood beside Scarlett. He looked down at her and asked, "Have you recognized them?"
Scarlett smiled, "They are Miss Sheridan’s friends.”
Raymond didn't know Yvonne's friends. However, as soon as he looked around, he found two women who looked guilty.
The old Jones walked onstage and made a speech. After that, a one-meter-high cake was pushed out. Libby's cousin, Garson Jones, helped the old Jones with the first cut of the cake. Then Garson cut the cake into pieces. The cake was distributed to guests. Raymond and Alexander were honored guests. Garson held several pieces of cake and handed the cake to them personally with Libby.
Libby said, "Ms. Reed."
Libby forced a smile and was reluctant to send the cake to Scarlett personally.
However, Scarlett came here with Raymond. Besides, she stood beside him now and was his girlfriend. Of course, Libby needed to hand the cake to Scarlett personally.
Scarlett took the cake from Libby's hands and said with a smile, "Thank you, Miss Jones."
Libby learned a lesson last time. Although she was reluctant to do so, she still dealt with Scarlett.
The cake tasted good, but Scarlett disliked desserts. She ate little and lost interest.
Raymond even didn't taste it but put it on the table.
Scarlett smiled, 'Do you dislike it?"
