It was past eleven o'clock p.m. Wrapping her arms around Raymond's neck, Scarlett was carried out of the bathroom and put to bed gently by Raymond. Thinking that her phone had just vibrated several times, she went down the bed and was about to go downstairs to get it.
Raymond stopped her, "What are you going to get?"
"My phone."
After she had finished her words, Scarlett raised her hand and touched her hot cheek, "And my watermelon."
She only ate one bite of such a sweet watermelon.
Hearing what she had said, Raymond smiled.
As soon as he had smiled, the cold in his eyes disappeared. He looked at her with gentle eyes. "I'll go downstairs and get them."
"Okay."
Scarlett answered, pulled the thin quilt that lay beside her and covered herself.
Watching Raymond walk out of the room, she couldn’t help but look down and smile.
Raymond soon returned with a plate of watermelon and her cell phone. Scarlett took the phone and blushed when she saw the phone screen showing two missed calls from Larry. Larry called her forty minutes ago.
Scarlett didn't intend to call Larry back. She hadn’t called him back for nearly an hour, and if she did, he would probably guess what she had been doing.
Scarlett's face was getting hotter and hotter as she thought about what had just happened.
She glared up at Raymond, "It's all your fault."
Raymond glanced at her phone, "I'll help you call him back?"
Scarlett pretended to be angry at him but smiled, "Do you want me to be scolded?"
Larry would have come over from Deeton City to see them if he knew Raymond had been staying at her villa every day and had refused to leave.
Raymond looked at her, "He won't scold you. He'll only scold me."
Scarlett didn't believe him, "I'll call him back tomorrow myself."
Because she had to call Larry back, Scarlett woke up around seven o'clock the next day. Raymond, who was behind her, frowned slightly, "It's still early."
"I'm going to call my brother back. "
Scarlett struggled and sat up with her phone, "I'll go outside."
